Meet Daquiri, a sweet and comforting 4 ½-year-old boy who is happiest when snuggled up next to his favorite people. He used to be a social butterfly, but after a tough experience with another dog, he’s become a bit shy and unsure around his canine companions. Daquiri is now searching for a patient and loving family or individual who can help him rediscover his confidence and remind him of what it feels like to be safe and secure. With the right home, he’s sure to blossom into the happy, playful dog he once was.

Ongoing Health
Daquiri is up-to-date on all vetting, including DAPP, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines. He has also been tested and is on prevention for heartworm, as well as receiving flea prevention. He has been neutered.
Training & Support
Daquiri is a rescue dog and will require continued training efforts and understanding. Our team has worked on his socialization through playgroups and one-on-one bonding, and he has also had some work on leash training and basic commands.

Transporation
Daquiri is currently in Angleton, TX. He is available for transport to VA, PA, CT, VT, NY, UT, ID, OR, TX, WA, & OH. Our transport buses are equipped with air conditioning and staffed with two drivers and two onboard attendants providing 24-hour care. You will receive updates and can follow along on the journey through a private Facebook Event page. Our Adoption Coordinator will assist in finding the closest transport pickup location for you.
