Amaya

Amaya is a delightful 1-year-old Australian Cattle Dog mix, weighing around 60 pounds. She came to us from a rural shelter that was over capacity, and we're so glad we could step in and save her. Thankfully, a loving foster family opened their home to her, and she's been a wonderful addition. Amaya is gentle and sweet, and has shown she's great with children as young as 7. She's also a fantastic companion for feline friends and gets along wonderfully with the cat in her foster home. Her friendly nature extends to other dogs too, as she's met and charmed every dog she's encountered. Amaya has a relaxed personality and isn't a high-energy pup, preferring leisurely walks and cozy relaxation.

Ideal Home

Amaya would thrive in a home that appreciates her laid-back personality. She's already shown to be great with children and cats, making her a versatile companion.

Ongoing Health

Amaya is spayed and up-to-date on all her vaccinations, including rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella. She is microchipped, heartworm negative, and current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

This sweet girl is already house-trained and leash-trained, making her a joy to have around. Her calm demeanor means she doesn't require a lot of intense activity, but she does enjoy her walks.
