About Rio

Rio is a charming 3-year-old, 20-pound Rat Terrier mix who's still waiting to find his forever family. He was surrendered when his previous family lost their home, and while he misses them, he's ready to shower a new family with love. Rio is a friendly boy, though he can be a bit timid when he first meets new people or experiences new things. Don't worry, he warms up quickly and shows no aggression, just a little initial shyness!

Ideal Home

Rio would thrive in a home with at least one other dog, as he loves canine companionship. He'd also be happy to live with children aged 10 and older.

Ongoing Health

Rio is neutered and up to date on all his vaccines.

Training & Support

While Rio is house-trained, he can be a little timid at first with new introductions. Patience and gentle encouragement will help him feel secure and show his wonderful personality.
