About Roxie

My name is Roxie, and I'm a gorgeous, athletic, smart, curious, and energetic 2-3 year old female German Shepherd. I came into rescue with my puppies after a difficult situation, but now we are all healthy and thriving, looking for our forever homes! I love to be active, so I enjoy running in the yard, playing in water, going on outings, and cuddling with my foster mom. I'm also very food motivated, especially by cheese and hot dogs, which makes me a great candidate for training!

Ideal Home

I'm looking for an active person or family who can take me on walks, hikes, runs, and play in the yard. I dream of having zoomie races with another doggo. A home with teenage or adult children is preferred. I am not a good fit for homes with cats.

Ongoing Health

I am up-to-date on vaccinations, heart-worm testing, and monthly preventatives. I have also been spayed.

Training & Support

I am currently working on house and crate training, and I'm making good progress. However, I do need full obedience training, including commands like sit, stay, come, down, place, leash walking, and greeting nicely. With my food motivation, I believe training together will be a breeze!
