Tipsy

Tipsy is a 5–6-year-old hound mix with a rich dark brown coat and bright eyes. She’s small but mighty, high energy, and loves the outdoors in all types of weather. While initially reserved with new people, she quickly warms up to those she knows and adores snuggling, happily leaping into laps for hugs. Tipsy is intelligent, attentive, and alert, quickly learning commands like "sit" and making progress on "watch." She has been working on her confidence around large, noisy vehicles and is becoming braver each day. Tipsy has been cat tested and is okay with cats.

Ideal Home

Tipsy must be the only dog in her home. Animal Alliance does not adopt adult dogs (over 9 months old) into households with children under 9 years of age.

Ongoing Health

Tipsy is spayed, de-wormed, current on vaccines, and started on monthly flea/tick preventatives.

Training & Support

Tipsy is intelligent and attentive, learning commands quickly. She is working on her fear of large tractor trailer rigs and heavy equipment but is making great progress.
