Penny Love is a 1.5-year-old, 70 lb Lab mix with an effortless, classic charm. She's the kind of dog that makes you feel instantly comfortable with her easygoing, kind-hearted, and steady loving presence. Penny is dog-friendly and cat-friendly, with a calm, balanced temperament that makes life simple and enjoyable. She was a dream from day one in her foster home, rarely exhibiting chaotic energy and instead preferring to relax near her people. Penny has a unique "young dog with an old soul" vibe, making her a comforting companion. While she enjoys company, she's not overly clingy and is happy to simply be near her favorite humans.
Ideal Home
Penny would thrive in a home with a calm, mature male dog who enjoys companionship without constant play. She's also perfectly content as the only dog in the household and would love a home with a nice big backyard for her to roam and relax in. If you have cats, Penny is friendly with them and would do best with a feline friend who is also aloof and independent.
Ongoing Health
Penny Love is up-to-date on all vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines. She has received multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. She has also been tested for heartworm.
Training & Support
Penny Love is potty trained and is working on becoming more comfortable with crate training. She knows basic commands like "sit" and is eager to please. She would be a great companion for someone who enjoys casual strolls and snuggle time. Penny is described as a homebody who enjoys the peace and comfort of being home but will happily join you on mini-adventures.
