Jack

Jack is an adorable 4-year-old Cairn Terrier mix who is ready to trade his past for a future filled with love and security! He spent most of his life on a short chain outdoors, but a kind animal control officer brought him to Indigo's Rescue Ranch and Sanctuary, where he's learned to trust and love again. Once you gain his trust, Jack is incredibly happy just to be near you. He adores snuggling, receiving belly rubs, and will happily sleep by your side. Squeaky toys and gentle games of tug-of-war are some of his favorite pastimes. He's generally well-behaved indoors and walks beautifully on a leash. Jack even knows a few commands! He's sure to make a wonderful and devoted friend.

Ideal Home

Jack is looking for a safe home with a securely fenced yard. He may be happiest as the only dog in an adult-only home, as he tends to want his humans all to himself.

Ongoing Health

Jack is neutered and vaccinated. He requires moderate exercise and some weekly brushing.

Training & Support

Jack is doing great with potty training and walks well on a leash. Slow introductions and high-value treats are recommended to help him build trust.
