Meet Kalena, a big, bold, and fearless 5-year-old hound-mastiff mix who’s always ready for adventure! She’s the ultimate tomboy – if there’s dirt, excitement, or action, you can bet she’s in the middle of it! Whether she’s splashing through puddles, rolling in the mud, or zooming around like a race car, Kalena lives life full speed ahead. But don’t let her rough-and-tumble personality fool you—this girl can rock a pink leash with confidence! She may love to get messy, but she’s also sweet, affectionate, and always up for a cuddle after a long day of play. Brave, loud, and endlessly entertaining, Kalena is the best of both worlds: a wild child with a heart of gold. She would love to be adopted with her brother, Meka, though it is not required.
Ideal Home
Kalena is looking for an active household that can keep up with her adventurous spirit. She loves to get messy and zoom around, so a yard or access to outdoor space for play would be wonderful.
Ongoing Health
Kalena's adoption fee covers all vetting, including DAPP, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, spay/neuter, flea prevention, heartworm testing and prevention, and micro-chipping.
Training & Support
Kalena is a rescue dog and will benefit from continued training and understanding. She has a strong zest for life and will be well on her way to being the best dog she can be with the right guidance.

Transporation
Kalena is currently in Angleton, TX. She is available for transport to VA, PA, CT, VT, NY, UT, ID, OR, TX, WA, & OH. Our transport buses are equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and two onboard attendants providing 24-hour care. You will get to follow along on her journey through a private Facebook Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. Our Adoption Coordinator will help to find the closest transport pick up location to you!
