Thor Goodwin is a joyful, funny, and endlessly entertaining dog who makes every day feel a little happier. He's approximately 2 years old, weighs around 29 lbs, and we believe he may be a Boston Terrier mix. Thor is a happy-go-lucky goofball who loves to play fetch and is eager to please, already knowing how to sit. He's affectionate without being overly clingy and is content to simply be by your side.
Ideal Home
Thor would thrive with a family looking for a playful, affectionate, and joyful companion. He's a wonderful guest in the house and has seamlessly integrated into a family with a 3-year-old and a 13-year-old. He is also reported to coexist peacefully with an older male Pug.
Ongoing Health
Thor is up-to-date on all vetting, which includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, and flea prevention. He also receives a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable and has been tested for heartworms.
Training & Support
Thor is eager to learn and highly motivated by treats. He already knows how to sit. He can sometimes jump up when excited to see people and can be a little mouthy when playful with adults and older children, but he is incredibly gentle with younger children. With consistent positive reinforcement, he is expected to continue maturing into an exceptional companion.

Thor is currently located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system, ensuring every pet travels safely and comfortably with 24/7 care. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada. Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
