Meet Jost Van Dyke, but you can call him Van! He's a charming 10-year-old Terrier Mix, likely a delightful blend of Dachshund, Rat Terrier, and Jack Russell. Weighing in at a perfectly portable 18 pounds, Van is a gentle soul with incredibly sweet eyes. He's a social butterfly who gets along wonderfully with everyone, humans and other dogs alike! Van is a professional lap dog and a world-class snuggler, with bedtime being his absolute favorite time of day when he can burrow under the covers for a cozy sleep next to his favorite people.

Ideal Home

Van would love a home where he can share his affection and snuggles. He can be a bit of a food-motivated fellow and may challenge other animals for food, so he sometimes needs to be fed separately from furry siblings to ensure everyone remains happy and relaxed.

Ongoing Health

Van is a healthy 10-year-old gentleman. He is neutered, vaccinated, and treated for parasites, with any additional treatments recommended by his vet already completed.

Training & Support

Van is mostly potty-trained and uses a doggy door like a pro, though he might have a rare accident as he adjusts to a new routine. He walks wonderfully on a leash and is a great strolling companion. He can get a little nervous during car rides, but with gentle reassurance, he can brave the road.
