Meet Barney! This handsome 5-year-old gentleman weighs in at 69 pounds and has just arrived from a partner rescue in the hopes of finding his forever home. Barney is a friendly, playful, and active dog who absolutely LOVES to play fetch! He equally enjoys spending time with people, and snuggles are high on his to-do list throughout the day. Barney is dog-friendly and super smart – he already knows "sit," "down," and "stay." It's clear he was deeply loved by his previous family. Given his enthusiastic play style, older children aged 12 and up would be the best fit. Barney is ready to snuggle his way right into your home today, so let's make his shelter stay a short one!

Ongoing Health

All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are dewormed, microchipped, and spayed or neutered. Dogs 7 months and older are heartworm tested.

Training & Support

Barney knows "sit," "down," and "stay."
