A little about them
Meet Reese, a sweet, snuggly gentleman who loves gentle pets, toys, sunny nap spots, and the comforts of home. Quiet and easygoing, he rarely barks and enjoys a simple routine. After a difficult past, Reese has made wonderful progress learning to feel safe and comfortable.
Ideal Home
Reese would thrive in a calm, loving home with someone who is home often. He gets along with other dogs, especially those his size, can coexist with cats, and does well with older children and teens. He would love friendly canine companionship and plenty of cozy places to relax.
Ongoing Health
Reese arrived severely neglected and painfully matted, requiring sedation so his coat could be safely shaved. His hair is growing back. His hearing and vision have declined, so he needs patience as he adjusts to new surroundings.
Training & Support
Reese is quiet and comfortable being crated at night and when his people are away, though he may need a few minutes to settle. He takes care of his business outside and is making good progress with house training.
