Once abandoned and covered in motor oil, Mildred arrived heartbreakingly thin and unwell. With time, care, and so much love, she has transformed into a healthy, grateful, incredibly sweet companion who is ready for her forever home. She is a distemper survivor with a tiny sleep-time twitch. Mildred is calm, affectionate, and wonderfully gentle.

Mildred would thrive in a quiet home. She is great with teens, but not suited for young children.

Transporation

Mildred is located in Los Angeles, CA. Approved adopters are matched with flight companions traveling from Puerto Vallarta. You will meet them at the airport to welcome your new pup home. It can be challenging to secure Canadian flight companions during the Summer months, so dogs may need to fly into the US and be picked up at Peace Arch Park at the border if a Canadian flight companion is unavailable. We have successfully completed many adoptions over the summer with volunteers helping to bring dogs to their adopters at the border.
