About Me
Hello there! I am a super happy, healthy, and incredibly sweet young boy who is looking for a forever family to love. I was found wandering in Katy, Texas, and while my original owners couldn't be located, it is very obvious that I used to be someone's cherished pet. I am already neutered, in tip-top health, and ready to bring a lifetime of smiles to my new home!
My Absolute Favorite Things
The Swimming Pool! I am a certified water baby. If you have a pool, you will definitely want to keep an eye on me because I will happily jump right in to go for a solo swim!
Toys and Balls: I have a wonderful, playful energy and absolutely love playing fetch or hanging out with my toys.
Snuggle Time: While I am cooperative enough to sleep in a crate, I will admit that I much prefer to curl up right in bed with you or sleep right on the floor next to you. I just love being close to my people!
Social & Manner Checklist
Kids: Yes! I will be fantastic with children.
Other Dogs: Yes! I get along great with other pups.
Cats: I haven't officially met a cat yet, but my foster family suspects I would do just fine with them.
Leash Manners: Excellent! I walk beautifully on a leash
Commands: I already know how to "sit" and I have a great recall when you call my name.
Treats: I take treats very gently, though I'm more motivated by praise and play than I am by food!
House Training: I am currently working hard on my potty training and making steady progress every day. I'll master this, like I do everything else, very soon.
If you are looking for a happy-go-lucky, pocket-sized companion who loves outdoor pool days just as much as indoor cuddle sessions, I am the perfect match for you!
Ziggy will benefit from being adopted by a dog-loving person who understands he has so much to offer but will need a little time to adjust and settle in with his new family.
Our Rescue is Houston based (https://www.facebook.com/TwilightTailsRescue) and all our fosters and Rescue Ranch are in and around Houston.
