Hi there! My name is Mesa, and I'm an adorable, energetic pup with the cutest white mitten paws, floppy ears, and a fluffy tail! When I play, I love to hop around like a bunny, and sometimes I get the zoomies and race through the house. I came all the way from New Mexico to find my forever home. My mom was a pit bull mix, and my dad was a boxer. I’m already doing a great job with potty training and even use the bells on the door to let my foster parents know when I need to go out! I’m working on feeling more comfortable in my kennel, and my foster parents are making it fun with special kennel games. At night, I sleep in my kennel in their bedroom. I've already mastered "sit" and am learning "stay," "place," "come," and "down." I'm also practicing recall, impulse control, and focus. Treats and toys are my biggest motivators!
Ideal Home
I live with a 4-year-old girl, a 13-year-old boy with special needs, and a 14-year-old girl who enjoys snuggling with me. I also share my home with three dogs: a laid-back 2-year-old large male Pitbull, a 10-year-old large female Pitbull who prefers I don't get in her face, and a 4-year-old medium Pitbull mix who loves to play with me. I haven't met any cats yet. My dream home would have a big yard for running and playing, along with canine siblings, kids, and lots of toys!
