Whole Wheat

Whole Wheat is a 2-year-old sweetie looking for her perfect match! She's a bit of a nervous nelly when she first meets new people, but she's making great progress with her leash walking skills. She gets along well with other dogs, and we're still learning about her potential with kids and cats. Whole Wheat is a shy girl, and we believe a quiet home environment would be ideal for her to blossom and overcome her shyness and anxiety. She's not a fan of having her feet touched, so please keep that in mind.

Ongoing Health

All animals are provided with age-appropriate vaccinations, spayed/neutered, and microchipped prior to adoption.

Training & Support

Whole Wheat is getting better at walking on a leash. She is not a fan of her feet being touched.

• An approved application and a deposit will hold your new best friend for up to 1 week. This deposit is not refundable nor transferable and is not applied to the adoption fee.

Whole Wheat is located at P.A.W.S (Protecting Animal Welfare Society) at 400 W. Walnut St. Jacksonville, IL 62650. You can visit her on Fridays or Saturdays from 10 AM - 4 PM.
