Rue is a striking, lanky boy whose personality is as expressive as his magnificent "satellite" ears. A playful spirit with a sensitive soul, Rue lives for the fun of a good outdoor romp and the simple joy of exploring the world alongside his favorite humans. While he radiates athletic energy, Rue thrives on soft voices and gentle handling. He has been very popular for field trips and sleepovers, with feedback including him being a sweetie, a masterful snuggler, and clearly showing signs of training. He is house-trained with no accidents. Rue also likes to be close and cuddle, but he is not a "velcro dog" and will move to explore the house while always coming back to check on his people. He had his foster laughing the entire time and even with all his energy, he knows how to settle and will sit and lie down when asked, which was great to see. He is very well-mannered. Rue has been neutered and is approximately 1 year, 8 months old, and weighs 46.6 lbs.

Rue prefers a predictable, calm environment, so he is looking for an adult-only home or one with respectful older children.
