About Button Mushroom Best Boy
Button is approximately 9 months old and is ready to be your "tiny shadow with floppy ears." He's a professional snuggler, a gentle kiss distributor, a squeaky toy enthusiast, and an emotional support sidekick who is convinced every person was invented to love him. This little guy is the definition of soft-hearted sweetness wrapped in an adorable puppy package, likely a Pit Bull/Pointer mix with maximum charm. He's confident with people, incredibly affectionate, and seeks connection almost immediately. Button approaches new humans with the attitude, "Hi!!! Are you my best friend now?" He loves attention and has that "Velcro-dog" quality, sticking close to his person without being demanding. And those ears! One spotted, one solid, both impossibly floppy, they bounce when he walks.
Button is more of a gentle observer than the life-of-the-party. Around other dogs, he's respectful and leans submissive, often rolling over to show his belly, politely indicating he means no trouble. He enjoys playing, especially with friendly and easygoing dogs, preferring a bouncy, sweet, and softer play style over rough-and-rowdy chaos. He would likely appreciate canine friends who are kind, socially appropriate, and not overly pushy. Button handled the world around him with calm acceptance, recovering quickly from anything mildly worrying. When unsure, he tends to freeze briefly rather than react with aggression and is easily redirected and reassured. He showed excellent tolerance during handling, allowing touching of his paws, ears, face, and body without concern. He also appears to have a wonderfully balanced energy level, enjoying toys, exploring, and little adventures before settling easily and calmly. He never barked, seeming content with affection, stuffies, and squeaky toys. Button met cats respectfully during testing and interacted sweetly with children, approaching gently for kisses and snuggles. He would thrive with a confident, reassuring family that helps him continue building confidence. Button could likely do well in a variety of homes, including apartments, as long as he gets continued socialization, structure, playtime, and love. He just wants to be included in whatever his people are doing, preferably with a stuffed toy in mouth.
