Chester / Nado

Chester is a happy, affectionate, and playful guy who has had a bit of a journey to find his forever home. He was found as a stray, and after a thorough search by his finder, it was discovered he had a microchip. Unfortunately, the registered owners had rehomed him long ago and had no information about his whereabouts. Now, Chester is ready to start fresh and is looking for a loving family to call his own. He's full of energy and loves to have fun, but what he cherishes most is bonding deeply with his people. He clearly knows he's been loved before, as he knows basic commands, rides well in the car, and simply wants to be near you.

Ideal Home

Chester will need a secure home because he has a habit of hopping fences. However, it's important to know that he's never actually run off; he usually comes right to the door or finds a friendly volunteer or staff member to hang out with. He's not trying to escape, just seeking out human company.

Ongoing Health

Chester is neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Chester knows basic commands and rides well in the car. He does have a tendency to hop fences, so a secure yard is important.

Chester is located at Claws & Paws Animal Adoption Center in Lebanon, MO. Transportation may be available to approved adopters.
