Meet Blues Clues!
Bluey is a 10-month-old spayed female, a mix of hound, Australian Shepherd, and Shepherd, with a heart full of puppy enthusiasm. She was a stray who spent 5 months in a shelter before being rescued and has blossomed into an all-star dog! She's a medium-sized girl, around 40 lbs, perfect for snuggling and sharing your bed. Bluey travels well in the car and would be thrilled to explore new places or even go camping with you. She's a sweet, adaptable companion who navigates change with ease.
Ideal Home
Bluey would thrive in a home with another dog and school-aged children, as she's shown to be mindful and plays well with them. She enjoys being outside and loves games of fetch, so a fenced yard would be ideal for her exercise and play. This yard needs to be tall, as Bluey is both sweet and athletic! She can be redirected with love, patience, and treats when she shows interest in chasing small critters like cats, squirrels, and chipmunks.
Ongoing Health
Bluey is up-to-date on flea and tick preventative and has been microchipped. Her adoption fee includes spay/neuter when age-appropriate, age-appropriate core vaccinations, a fecal test, and deworming.
Training & Support
Bluey is an incredibly smart and eager learner, having already graduated from a positive reinforcement basic obedience class. She's fully potty trained and would love to continue her training journey, perhaps in canine good citizen or rally classes. While she's generally good, she is still working on resisting the temptation to chew on shoes. Providing her with a good selection of bones, toys, or your attention will help her leave your valued items alone. She also sleeps well in a gated area with an open crate and is doing well when left alone for half a day or more.

- The standard adoption fee is $465, with a $15 discount for adopters who pay by cash or check, making the fee $450.
