Andi is an 8-month-old Cattle Dog mix who has already lived a whole story's worth of life, but she's writing a much brighter chapter now. She came into the rescue in really rough shape, but this girl is resilient. With love, safety, and time, she is blossoming into a confident, curious, joyful pup who greets each day like an adventure waiting to happen. She LOVES to hunt and catch bugs (seriously, it's her favorite hobby...you'd think she was getting paid!). She thinks puddles are nature's playground. She adores playing outside, exploring, and romping with other dogs. When she's done with her adventures, she's more than happy to curl up in a soft spot for a cozy nap. She's crate trained, super smart, and settling beautifully into the rhythm of home life. Andi is still working on being brave when meeting new people, but really? It might just be her clever way of earning extra treats. Once she warms up, her sweetness shines through. She's adorable, fun, a tiny bit sassy, and full of heart.
Ideal Home
Andi would be a great match for someone who loves an active, playful companion, enjoys a dog with a curious, outdoorsy spirit, and has another friendly dog for her to romp with (bonus!). She also needs a family who understands that confidence grows with patience, kindness, and snacks.
