Emmy - Local Foster

Meet Emmy! This sweet, smart girl was born on January 9, 2026, and has come a long way from her beginnings in Tennessee. She's a 6-month-old, 25 lb (tall/lanky) female Terrier mix who is thriving with her foster family in Massachusetts. Emmy absolutely loves to snuggle with the elderly resident dog in her foster home and is very respectful of her. She's a quick learner and has already mastered "sit" and "down" with basic obedience training. Emmy is very food-motivated, which makes training a fun and rewarding experience for her. She's also learning to walk nicely on a leash and adores everyone she meets, including adults, seniors, and children. Emmy especially loves kids and would make a wonderful family dog.

Ideal Home

Emmy would do well in a home with another friendly dog. She can be a bit jumpy, so children should be dog-savvy.

Ongoing Health

Emmy is up to date on vaccinations, is spayed, and microchipped. She is too young to test for heartworm.

Training & Support

Emmy is making great progress with house training and is eager to learn. Like any puppy, she will need continued guidance and consistency as she grows.
