Solstice

Solstice is a sweet but shy young dog who arrived in our care with eight puppies. Her road hasn't been easy, and she's currently recovering from heartworm. Now that her puppies have found homes, it's Solstice's turn to find her forever family! She's quiet and a little unsure of new people, but she's eager to make friends with humans and most dogs. However, cats make her nervous, so we're looking for a home without feline companions.

Ideal Home

A gentle hand and patient guidance will help Solstice blossom. She would do best in a quieter home with a steady schedule, but she enjoys playtime once she's comfortable. A home without cats is preferred.

Ongoing Health

Solstice is heartworm positive and is currently undergoing treatment and recovery.

Training & Support

Solstice is shy with new people and will need patience and positive reinforcement to build her confidence.
