Meet Hachi!

Hachi is a 2-year-old, 50lb bundle of joy with a heart of gold and a story of resilience. He spent much of his life in an outdoor kennel, never knowing the warmth of a loving home. Despite his past, Hachi is a total love bug, greeting everyone with a wagging tail and a gentle spirit. He adores people, is wonderful with kids, and makes friends with everyone he meets. He truly treasures the simple things like belly rubs, a cozy bed, and quality time with his family.

Ideal Home

Hachi is looking for a home where he's included, cherished, and loved. He's a medium-energy dog who enjoys adventures but is also happy to relax by your side. He does best with slow introductions to other dogs and tends to thrive with confident canine companions.

Ongoing Health

Hachi is still working on gaining weight after years of being underfed. His ideal weight is closer to 60 lbs, so he'll need a loving family to help him reach his goal weight with plenty of treats!

Training & Support

Hachi is crate trained and potty trained. While he generally gets along well with other dogs, he can sometimes try to assert dominance with more timid dogs. He benefits from slow introductions to build trust with new canine friends.
