Smarty Marty SPC

Smarty Marty is a super smart and incredibly resilient girl who came to us broken and defeated, understandably hesitant to trust after experiencing neglect and mistreatment. Her foster mom tells us, "It's hard to post and talk about her without tearing up because I'm just in such awe of how far she has come. A whole village stepped up to get her here and I want to thank them all." She found her HERO and is now ready for the loving family who will cherish her for exactly who she is, forever!

Ideal Home

Smarty Marty is good with other dogs and cats, but she is also allergic to cat dander, so a home without cats would be ideal. She can be playful but a bit rough, so she would do best in a home without small children. She loves her kennel and is puppy pad trained.

Ongoing Health

Smarty Marty will require long-term allergy medication and a prescription diet.

Training & Support

Patience will be a must for Smarty Marty as we don't know her full history. She is a rescued dog who has overcome so much and is ready for an adopter who understands and is willing to work with her as she continues to grow.
