Meet Idgie, a stunning 3-year-old Catahoula Leopard Dog mix who weighs around 62 pounds. She's spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and completely up to date on all her medical care, making her ready for her new home! Idgie has a quiet charm and captivating eyes that will draw you in.
Ideal Home
Idgie thrives in a home where she can have a canine companion to play with, as she does wonderfully with other dogs her size. She’s also a fan of cats and has experience with children of all ages, always showing a calm and gentle demeanor. A securely fenced yard with at least 6-foot fencing is recommended due to her being a bit of an escape artist.
Ongoing Health
Idgie is a healthy girl with no ongoing medical concerns.
Training & Support
Idgie is fully housebroken and crate trained, even comfortable in her crate for up to nine hours. She’s a respectful housemate and sleeps soundly through the night. Idgie does show some resource guarding around her food bowl, so she needs to be fed separately from other pets. This is only around her meals; she has no issues with treats, toys, or bones. With this simple management, she continues to be a well-mannered pup. While she enjoys playtime, she also loves relaxing and cuddling, making her adaptable to different energy levels.
