Meet Mara The Gentle HeartMara has only ever known life on the streets, but youd never guess it from her tender, affectionate nature. This sweet girl is gentle, loyal, and full of love to give. She may not have had a safe place to call her own yet, but shes more than ready for it now.

Mara bonds deeply with people and thrives when she feels secure. Shes the kind of companion who will bring calm, joy, and unconditional love into any home lucky enough to welcome her.

While Monte and Mara would love to find a forever home together as theyve survived every hardship side by side they can also be adopted separately if it means finally getting the chance to know comfort, safety, and love. Both are currently in Baja, and transport can be arranged.

Before leaving Cortez Rescue: All dogs will be given a full medical assessment to ensure optimum health, current on vaccinations, and spayed/neutered. All dogs are micro-chipped before leaving Mexico.
