Callie is a sweet, social, and soulful 9-month-old Lab mix who is ready to be someone's best girl! She's affectionate, playful, observant, and incredibly loving. Callie loves to be near her people, play with her dog friends, and carry her favorite stuffed toy from room to room. She spent her early months surviving on the streets in Texas with a small pack of dogs who looked out for each other. Thanks to some kind humans, Callie was rescued and brought to Colorado, where she is now learning what it means to be safe, loved, and wanted. She is blossoming beautifully and ready for her happily-ever-after!

Ideal Home

Callie would thrive in a home with a friendly resident dog, a secure fenced yard for play, and patient, kind, and encouraging people. She needs a family who understands that confidence is built one positive step at a time. If children are in the home, they should be older and respectful.

Callie is healthy and up to date on vaccines.

Training & Support

Callie is fully potty trained and kennel trained. She is smart, eager to please, and learning quickly, currently working on commands like "sit," "down," and "stay." She is still learning to feel safe and enjoy going out on leash, but she is making progress. A backyard will be important for helping her feel safe and happy. Callie has a moderate to high activity level and enjoys playtime, but she is also happy to relax and nap.
