Wendell

Wendell is a charming 7-year-old, 6 lb gentleman who is ready to find his forever home! He's recently returned from a spa day at the groomer and is looking and feeling fabulous. Wendell's dream day involves a treasure hunt for tennis balls in the yard, a friendly sniff with his neighbor Sven, and inviting all his new friends over for a playdate. After a busy day, he enjoys a good nap. He’s a social butterfly who loves kids and adults alike, eager to make friends with everyone he meets!

Ideal Home

Wendell needs a securely fenced yard due to his impressive escape artistry – he can squeeze through a two-inch gap and jump three feet high! He would also love a canine companion to share his adventures with, along with plenty of walks, snuggle time, and a consistent routine.

Ongoing Health

Wendell has Cushing's disease and is managed with daily doses of Vetoryl.

Training & Support

Wendell is still working on his housetraining but does well with belly bands indoors. He can hold it overnight and if taken out every 2 hours, he can remain dry. He is still figuring out leash manners, so a fenced yard is essential. He can be a little vocal when left alone but settles with time.
