Coco

Cocoa is a sweet senior Maltese and Miniature Poodle mix with a heart of gold. Despite a difficult past, his gentle and loving personality shines through. He was surrendered after his owner of 13 years passed away and was sadly left at a county shelter where he was at risk. Our team couldn't leave him there and brought him into our care. Cocoa had clearly suffered neglect, arriving emaciated with severely rotted teeth. He underwent extensive dental extractions and reconstructive surgery on his gums. It's truly remarkable that he has recovered and is now ready to find a loving forever home.

Cocoa is looking for a quiet and loving home where he can live out his golden years in comfort and peace.

Ongoing Health

Cocoa has undergone significant dental surgery and reconstruction due to severe rot and infection. He is now recovering well but will require ongoing care and monitoring by his new family.

Training & Support

Cocoa is a resilient soul who has overcome a great deal. We will provide guidance to his adopter on how to best support his continued recovery and well-being.
