Pretzel is estimated to be around 1-2 years old and weighs about 72 lbs. He appears to be a bully mix, but as always with rescue, breed and age are our best guess. Pretzel is a big, lovable boy with amazing features and the sweetest heart. His independently operating ears, perfectly patterned brindle coat, and cartoon-worthy head tilt make him impossible to resist. He's a puppy at heart, eager, smart, responsive, and wants to do the right thing. He is incredibly people-oriented and adoring, always checking in with his handler and leaning in for connection. There's a soft sweetness to him that makes you all Team Pretzel immediately. He's not stubborn or defiant, just learning, and with a treat in hand, he's a master in no time!
Ideal Home
Pretzel is a puppy in a big body who can occasionally jump up and get a bit mouthy when excited. He would benefit from structure, redirection, and consistency. He needs a confident handler who can guide him on leash, especially when meeting new dogs, and a medium-energy dog who can tolerate his learning curve and help show him appropriate play.
Ongoing Health
No specific ongoing health conditions are mentioned in the description.
Training & Support
Pretzel can get excited and become a bit mouthy and jumpy. He needs consistent redirection and structure. He already knows how to sit, and with follow-through, this can be a useful tool. He is very food motivated, which will make training effective and fun. He is learning leash manners and boundaries with other dogs.
