Loyal is a handsome 2-year-old, 68-pound merle Catahoula with a heart as pure as his name. His story is one that stays with you. He was found abandoned at the construction site of our future animal shelter, sitting patiently beside his belongings, waiting for the people who never came back for him. Despite being let down in the worst way, Loyal has not lost an ounce of his sweetness. His spirit is bright and his heart is full of love. He is incredibly affectionate and happiest when he is near his person, whether that means heading out for a car ride, walking calmly by your side, or relaxing quietly together at the end of the day. Loyal rides wonderfully in the car, is friendly with other dogs, and greets new friends with genuine excitement. He is gentle, he is trusting, and he is everything his name promises.
