Sophia - bonded with Patches

Sophia is a sweet and gentle 1-year-old, 52-pound Golden mix with a truly special spirit. She and her sister, Patches, have been through a lot, but are now safe and recovering together. Sophia was born with a paw difference due to missing bones in her toes, but after surgery on her front paws and an upcoming procedure on her back paws, she's expected to get around even better. Sophia dreams of being a cherished indoor family member, attending training classes, and going on adventures with her forever family. She has a loving nature, makes friends easily, and has an amazing attitude despite her past.

Ideal Home

Sophia would thrive in a home that understands she may never walk perfectly normally and might not be built for marathon running. She needs a family who will cherish her and include her in all family activities.

Ongoing Health

Sophia has undergone surgery on her front paws and will have her back paws operated on soon. She is expected to make a full recovery.

Training & Support

Sophia is eager to attend training classes with her new family and learn what it feels like to be a beloved indoor pet.
