Cole is a sweet, sensitive boy with a gentle heart who is looking for a patient and loving home where he can continue building confidence at his own pace. He can be shy and a little nervous when first meeting new people or hearing loud sounds, but with kindness, consistency, and reassurance, Cole settles in beautifully and forms strong bonds with his humans. Once he trusts you, Cole is incredibly affectionate and enjoys being close to his people, especially if it means getting pets and spending time outside. He loves exploring the yard, digging little holes and hiding his treasures like the adorable goofy boy he is. He has a playful side, enjoys staying active, and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. He's also great with kids and is a fantastic car buddy who enjoys sticking his head out the window.

Ideal Home

Cole would do best in a calm home that understands sensitive dogs and will give him the patience and love he deserves. He is not the best fit for a home with cats or other small animals.

Cole likes the comfort of a nightlight to help him feel safe and secure at bedtime.

Training & Support

Cole is very well-mannered in the house and loves being told when he's a good boy. He is fully potty trained, crate trained, and walks extremely well on leash. He rarely barks, listens very well once he feels comfortable, and is easily redirected if needed. He's also highly food motivated, which helps make training and bonding with him easy and rewarding.
