Thor is approximately 2 years old, currently weighs around 29 lbs, and we believe he may be a Boston Terrier mix. As with any rescue dog, breed is always a bit of a mystery, but one thing we know for sure is that Thor is 100% awesome.

He has seamlessly integrated into a foster home with a 3-year-old and a 13-year-old, and is particularly bonded with the older child. He also coexists peacefully with an older male Pug.

Ongoing Health

Thor is a healthy young dog. All vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, flea and heartworm prevention, and a microchip, is up to date.

Training & Support

Thor is eager to please and highly motivated by treats. He already knows how to sit and is excited to learn more. While he relaxes comfortably in the laundry room when his foster family leaves, he can sometimes jump up to greet people and can be a little mouthy when excited. His foster notes he is incredibly gentle with the 3-year-old in the home. With continued consistency and positive reinforcement, he will continue to mature into an exceptional companion.

Transporation

Thor is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide using our rescue's USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. Transport includes real-time tracking, photo updates, and a dedicated Facebook event page. A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
