Hi there! My name is Striper, but I'm hoping you'll give me a new name to go with my new life. I'm an approximately 8-month-old mixed-breed boy who was a stray before finding my way to safety. Despite my rough start, I'm a super happy, friendly pup who is just bursting with optimism and believes every single person is a potential best friend. I'm estimated to weigh around 40 pounds and look like some kind of bird dog mix. I love people, soak up attention, and have a playful, outgoing personality. The nice people who found me said I was gentle with everyone I met, including children! I would absolutely love a family that will help me learn what it's like to be a cherished indoor dog.
