Button is approximately 9 months old and ready to be your "tiny shadow with floppy ears." He's a professional snuggler, a gentle kiss distributor, a squeaky toy enthusiast, and an emotional support sidekick who believes everyone was put on earth just to love him. This sweet boy is pure charm wrapped in an adorable puppy package, possibly a Pit Bull/Pointer mix, with maximum cuteness packed into one tiny body. He's confident, incredibly affectionate, and quickly forms strong bonds, approaching every new human with enthusiasm, convinced they are his new best friend. Button loves attention and has a wonderful "Velcro-dog" quality, staying close without being demanding. And let's not forget his impossibly floppy ears – one spotted, one solid – that bounce with every step, adding to his unfair levels of cuteness.
Ideal Home
Button is a gentle observer who shows respectful social skills with other dogs, often leaning submissive. He enjoys playing with friendly and easygoing dogs but doesn't care for rough play. He would likely do best with canine friends who are kind and socially appropriate. He also interacted sweetly with children, approaching them for gentle kisses and snuggles. He would thrive with a confident, reassuring family that helps him continue building confidence. Button could do well in various homes, including apartments, as long as he receives continued socialization, structure, playtime, and love.
Ongoing Health
Button is healthy and has been vetted, including vaccinations, deworming, and flea prevention. He is microchipped and will receive a heartworm preventative injectable.
Training & Support
Button approaches new experiences with calm acceptance and recovers quickly from anything mildly worrying. He tends to "pancake" or freeze briefly when unsure, rather than react aggressively, and is easily redirected and reassured. He showed excellent tolerance during handling, allowing touching of his paws, ears, face, and body without concern. He has a balanced energy level, enjoying play and exploration but settling easily after exercise. He has never barked despite many distractions.
