Meet Rocky, a sweet five-year-old pittie mix who found himself in our care when his previous owners could no longer care for him. The shelter environment has been a bit overwhelming for Rocky, and his naturally quiet and shy nature has become more pronounced. However, beneath his reserved exterior, Rocky is a dog with a heart full of love to give. He possesses a gentleness that you might not expect from his muscular build, and a zest for life that is just waiting for the right home to help it shine!

Rocky absolutely adores playtime and gets the zoomies when he has his favorite toys. He would be thrilled to find a home with an abundance of Benebones and chew toys to keep him happily occupied. He has lived with other dogs before, and we would require any resident dogs to meet him first to ensure they're a good match. Rocky has never lived with cats. He has also lived with children in the past, and we believe he would do best with gentle and respectful kids.

While Rocky can be a bit shy when you first meet him, he is highly motivated by toys and treats, which helps him warm up quickly. All this handsome boy is asking for is a chance to show you his wonderful personality. Could you be the one to give him that chance?
