BRIGHTON

Brighton is an approximately 2-year-old, 11 lb Maltese mix who is incredibly resilient and full of love! He arrived at a local shelter with a severely shattered leg that sadly needed to be amputated. Brighton has adapted beautifully to being a tripod and gets around with ease, hopping onto furniture and into cars without hesitation. He is his foster mom's shadow and thrives on affection, enjoying lap time and sleeping soundly on the bed. He's a calm companion around other dogs, not being overly playful but getting along well, and he seems to happily ignore the cats in his foster home. Brighton is house-trained and walks nicely on a leash. This sweet boy is ready for a home where he can receive all the TLC he deserves.

Ideal Home

We are looking for an experienced dog owner. Brighton cannot be adopted to a home with children under the age of 8 years old.

Ongoing Health

Brighton is a brave tripod and requires no special ongoing medical care beyond routine vet check-ups.

Training & Support

Brighton is house-trained and walks well on a leash. He enjoys quiet companionship and affection.
