Polly (Born 03/30/26)

Polly is a sweet and shy girl who is looking for a patient and loving home to help her blossom. She was found as a stray and is still learning to trust people. Polly enjoys quiet time and gentle pets. She would do best in a home with no young children, as loud noises and sudden movements can be overwhelming for her.

Ideal Home

Polly would thrive in a calm and quiet environment where she can feel safe and secure. A home with no young children is preferred, as she is still learning to trust and can be easily startled.

Ongoing Health

Polly will be up to date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered, and heartworm negative before adoption. She will also be microchipped.

Training & Support

As Polly is shy and still learning to trust, patience and positive reinforcement will be key. Slow introductions to new people and experiences will help her build confidence.

• A home visit and vet reference are required.
• If you rent, a copy of your lease stating pets are allowed will be needed.
• If you've had a pet in the last two years, provide that vet's information.
• If you haven't owned a pet in over two years, a personal reference who knows you'll care for the pet is acceptable.
• We do not do same-day adoptions.

Polly is located at our rescue center in Brundidge, AL. Transport may be available to approved adopters.
