Diva is a 1-year-old, spayed Lab mix who weighs about 35 pounds. She's a playful, affectionate, and outgoing girl with a tail that's always wagging! Diva loves to run, play, and chase with other dogs, and she's just as happy exploring on her own as she is romping with a canine buddy. She walks politely on leash and mostly ignores cats, though she might sneak a bite of their food if she gets the chance! Diva is affectionate and gentle and would likely do well with children, especially those old enough to manage her enthusiasm. She's crate trained and does well in her crate for short periods, and she's very food motivated, always eager to learn. She shares toys well and enjoys playing without issue. Diva is outgoing, smart, and loves meeting new people with friendly enthusiasm. She's still building comfort with car rides, so longer adventures will be something she needs to work up to. When corrected, Diva becomes vocal, howling as if she's arguing her point – it's charming and funny! She's ready to find a family of her own and will blossom into the perfect companion with patience, consistency, and plenty of affection.

Ideal Home

Diva would thrive in a home with another dog who shares her zest for playtime. Her ideal home would be one where someone is home most of the time to give her the structure, love, and activity she craves. She would do best with regular walks, plenty of playtime, and the chance to sleep close to her people.

Training & Support

Diva is crate trained and food motivated, making her eager to learn. She should be fed separately from other dogs as she might try to sneak extra treats. She is still building comfort with car rides and will need time and patience to adjust.
