Sandy Avalon The Girl with the Gentlest soul

Sandy Avalon is a young lady with the gentlest soul you'll ever meet. She radiates innocence and sweetness, and it's impossible not to fall instantly in love with her. Sandy has the kind of eyes that look deep into your soul and make you melt. She's quiet in nature and incredibly gentle, and while she may take a moment to warm up to new people, she's incredibly loyal once she does. Her affection is shown through subtle leans or taking a tiny step closer. Sandy is the definition of love, and she has so much of it to share!

Ideal Home

Sandy needs a home with at least one other dog, as this helps build her confidence. She also requires a patient family who can give her time to adjust to her new surroundings. A secure, fenced yard is a must for her to safely explore as she settles in. She would do best in a home with older, respectful children who can give her the space she needs to feel secure, as sudden movements can make her a bit skittish.

Ongoing Health

Sandy is fully vetted, including spay/neuter, DAPP vaccine with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. She has also been tested for heartworms.

Training & Support

Sandy is fully crate trained and 100% potty trained, with no accidents in foster care. She walks beautifully on a leash, remaining non-reactive to distractions, and enjoys short car rides. While not treat-motivated by typical rewards, she absolutely adores Colby Jack cheese. She is a quiet dog who rarely barks.
