About Hank (Teddy Bear)

Hank, a 7-month-old neutered male Poodle mix, is a bundle of puppy energy and affection! Weighing in at 22 pounds, he's still growing and has a curious spirit. Hank was originally named Teddy Bear by his previous owners, but we think Hank suits him perfectly. Unfortunately, his original family found they didn't have the time or energy for a young pup, leading him to our rescue. He's been doing wonderfully in his foster home, embracing all things puppy with enthusiasm! He can be a little shy at first, but with a moment to warm up (and maybe a fun stick!), his playful and cuddly personality shines through.

Ideal Home

Hank would thrive in a home that understands he's still learning and growing. He's great with dogs of all sizes and personalities and would likely benefit from having a canine companion to guide him. We are seeking a home where someone is not away for more than four hours at a time during the day, as puppies at this age require frequent attention and training. While he's been around children, his comfort with cats is unknown.

Ongoing Health

Hank is a healthy 7-month-old puppy. He is up-to-date on vaccinations and has been neutered.

Training & Support

Hank is doing well with crate training and sleeps through the night. He's mostly potty-trained but may have occasional accidents during transitions. He can bark at external stimuli like cars. He's a bit jumpy on leash, which is typical for a playful pup. Positive reinforcement and consistent socialization are key to helping Hank grow into a well-adjusted adult dog.
