Beth is a 7-year-old, 17.2 lb female Dachshund/Beagle mix who is eager to find a loving companion to share her life with. She's a quiet and shy girl who needs a patient and caring home. Beth enjoys a peaceful environment and can be skittish around loud noises or in unfamiliar surroundings. She was treated for heartworm and is now on a yearly prevention shot, as well as flea and tick prevention. She is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on all her vaccinations. Beth has also had a dental cleaning and a negative fecal test.
Ideal Home
Beth would thrive in a home that understands her need for quiet and patience. She is not comfortable with loud sounds or new environments and can dart out of an open door if not secured. She is not fond of leashes or harnesses and will try to escape them. Beth would do best in a home where walks are not a focus, but rather spending time in a securely fenced backyard or indoors.
Ongoing Health
Beth was heartworm positive in the past but has been successfully treated. She is currently on a yearly heartworm prevention shot and regular flea and tick prevention. She has had a dental cleaning and a negative fecal test.
