Meet Dolce! This approximately one-year-old, 45-pound Staffie mix is brimming with squishy, smiley goodness and is ready to find her forever home. She's already spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations and preventatives, and is the perfect blend of playful pup and relaxed best friend. Dolce has a sweet, affectionate nature and is independent enough to enjoy her own space, but she's also eager to be your favorite adventure buddy.
Ideal Home
Dolce would thrive in a home with a fenced yard, but she doesn't require constant high-intensity activity. She enjoys both playtime and peaceful downtime and would be happy as an only pet or with a canine sibling her size. While she hasn't been exposed to cats up close, she does tend to announce their presence if she sees them through a window. Dolce's gentle demeanor suggests she'd do well with older, dog-savvy children. Slow, calm introductions are key, as she can be a bit barky and jumpy when meeting new people and may be shy initially.

Training & Support
Dolce walks beautifully on leash and doesn't pull. She has no noted separation anxiety or potty issues and hasn't exhibited destructive behavior when left alone. She is not currently crated and handles freedom responsibly. While Dolce hasn't shown resource guarding with her foster siblings, it's always wise to feed dogs separately in a new home during the transition.

Transportation
Dolce is currently located in Houston, Texas. Transports run every few weeks, and approved adopters will be placed on the next available transport.
