Doc McGee is the name, and fun is the game! This sweet boy's life was almost over when he was found alone in a rural pound, but thankfully, his luck changed, and he was saved! He's a playful mix of hunting and herding breeds, often lifting his paw when he sees something interesting and trying to gently herd his foster mom's dogs. At night, Doc McGee is a snuggle bug who loves to be close, preferring to sleep in his human's bed rather than his kennel. He'll let you know if he can't be by your side!
Doc McGee is athletic and energetic, enjoying wrestling with his doggy siblings and would love a furry friend to play with in his new home. He also adores playing with the humans who talk "baby talk" to him. He loves to play with squeaky toys and enjoys a good chew on anything his teeth can get a hold of, from firewood to old shoes. He's also excellent at fetching when his human throws his toys.
Ideal Home
Doc McGee would thrive in an active home with a fun, furry friend to play with. He loves to be close to his humans and would prefer not to sleep in a kennel.
Ongoing Health
Doc McGee is up-to-date on all vaccines, has been neutered, and is microchipped.
Training & Support
Doc McGee is still working on potty training. He always piddles outside but sometimes has accidents inside. He needs to be taken out immediately upon waking and within two minutes of eating to maintain success. He also enjoys chewing, so providing him with appropriate chew toys is recommended.
