Meet Maverick!

Maverick came to us in not so healthy condition but he is thriving now! He has been a very loving boy and does well with everyone he meets, 2 and 4 legged! Here is a bit about his breed as we are not super familiar with it, he has showed all the characteristics of the breed. He is more than likely a mix of sorts as well.

Mavericks breed is said to be a Sarplaninac HOW DO YOU SAY SARPLANINAC? Sarplaninac is pronounced shar-pla-nee-natz.

The Šarplaninac or Sharr dog is a breed of dog of livestock guardian type. It is named for the Šar Mountains or Šar Planina range in the Balkans, where it is principally found. Wikipedia Temperament: Protective, Reliable, Intelligent, Stubborn, Devoted, Independent, Calm

Origin: Serbia, North Macedonia, Kosovo

Height: Male: 22-24 inches (56-62 cm), Female: 21-24 inches (54-60 cm)

Weight: Male: 77-99 lbs (35-45 kg), Female: 66-88 lbs (30-40 kg)

Lifespan: 11 - 13 years

MAVERICK IS A WORKING DOG - HE NEEDS TO BE ON A FARM WITH PLENTY OF ROOM TO RUN

He is fully vetted including Neuter, All Vaccines including Rabies, Heartworm Tested, Dewormed, Placed on Monthly Preventatives as well as Microchipped
