Cholula

Cholula is a beautiful 5-month-old female puppy with the sweetest heart! She was born in a loving foster home after her mom was rescued while pregnant and injured. Thanks to that second chance, Cholula and her siblings entered the world safe, healthy, and surrounded by love on January 14th, 2026. She is expected to be a medium-sized dog. Cholula is gentle, observant, and very intelligent. She may be a little shy at first, but once she feels safe and comfortable, her true personality shines through: a loving, loyal, and affectionate companion. She enjoys following her people everywhere, relaxing by your side, playing with her siblings, and getting belly rubs. Like any puppy, she is curious, playful, and learning about the world around her. New situations can sometimes make her a little nervous, but with patience, love, and positive reinforcement, she quickly gains confidence and shows just how wonderful she is.

Ideal Home

Cholula would thrive in a home with people who have dog experience. She needs space to explore and play, and a calm and peaceful environment. Friendly and respectful canine companions are welcome, but she would do best in a home without cats or young children. She is potty trained with access to the yard.

Ongoing Health

Cholula is vaccinated, dewormed, and spayed.

Training & Support

Leash training is currently in process. New situations can sometimes make her a little nervous, but with patience, love, and positive reinforcement, she quickly gains confidence.

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• The rescue is located near Bucerias, Mexico.
• The adoption coordinator will collaborate with flight companions to arrange transport from Puerto Vallarta to an airport close to you.

Transportation

Cholula is located in Mexico and can be transported to the US and Canada. If a Canadian flight angel is unavailable during the summer months, dogs may fly into the US and be picked up at Peace Arch Park at the border.
