Hi, I am Terry, a 1 year old Dachshund and Hound mix weighing about 19 pounds. I was rescued from a high kill shelter in Texas, and these days I have decided that attention is my favorite thing in the whole world. I am a happy little guy with a big personality and an even bigger heart.

I currently live with three other dogs, but the moment someone walks into the room, I make sure I am the first one there to say hello. I love scratches, treats, cuddles and anything that involves spending time with my people. When I first arrived at the rescue, I was a little unsure and liked to stay off by myself while I figured things out. Once I realized everyone was kind and full of treats and love, my confidence blossomed. Now I am all tail wags, happy energy and ready to soak up as much attention as I can get.

I get along great with the other dogs around me and really enjoy being social. I have not been cat tested yet, but that can be done upon request. I will come fully vetted, neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives. If you are looking for a goofy, affectionate little companion who will happily be by your side through all of lifes adventures, I might just be your perfect match.
