Bubba

Bubba Gimp is such an impressive Rottie boi! He loves his humans and will protect them from every leaf, cat, goat, or anything else that may try to get them! Other than his humans, his favorite thing in life is tennis balls! He lives for toys, but a good tennis ball takes the cake, and he will play with it for hours! This boy has been through so much in his 4 years already, he needs a patient and understanding home to love him, keep him safe, and let him just be a good dog. He is a happy, fun-loving kind of dog who is fully vaccinated, neutered, and house and crate trained.

Ideal Home

Bubba needs a patient and understanding home that will give him time to adjust. He is still learning to trust men and may nip at hands that offer him treats for the first couple of days, but this distrust can be overcome with time, treats, and positive reinforcement. If you have another dog, a meet and greet is required, as Bubba tends to mirror the energy of other dogs.

Ongoing Health

Bubba is a tri-pawd due to sustaining a gunshot injury. He also underwent heartworm treatment last year and is now heartworm negative. While he is house trained, expect some accidents as he learns new routines in a new home.

Training & Support

Bubba will take treats from men but may attempt to nip the hand that fed him for the first few days. This can be overcome with patience and positive reinforcement. He is fully crate trained.
